Play Fungies Spelungies online for free. Fungies Spelungies is a digging puzzle game based on the new Cartoon Network series. Dig through the dirt and collect fossils and gems along the way. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Click on the large play button at the center of the screen to open the welcome page.
- After a brief animated intro, the welcome screen loads.
- Toggle the audio of the game at the top right corner of the screen.
- To the bottom right of the game is a button showing the developer
- To begin, click the play button on the bottom center corner of the welcome screen.
- This will move you to a menu showing the levels of the game.
  - You begin with only Level 1 unlocked.
  - Pause the game and access other options by clicking on the button on the top right corner.
  - Pausing the game will open three options
    - The sound button
    - The reset button, which starts the level from the beginning.
    - The home button, which brings you back to the welcome page.
    - Your web browser automatically saves your game progress, unlocked levels, and level ratings.
      - If you quit the game and come back to it you can replay levels you already beat or any level you have unlocked.
      - As long as you make it to the end of a level you unlock the next level – even if you scored 0 stars.
      - Game Controls
        Desktop
        Use the left, down, and right arrow keys to dig.
        You can only dig down or to the sides. You can not dig up.
        Mobile
        Use your finger to direct Seth.
        Game Play
        As Seth, dig a tunnel downward to reach the cavern below.
        Collect as many fossils and gems as you can. A star rating meter at the top of the screen shows your level rating with your given progress.
        Avoid hitting any obstacles, either from above or from the sides.
        You can only move down, left, and right.
        Collecting fossils and gems.
        Each collectible you acquire increases your star rating.
        To get a three star rating, you must collect all the items in a level.
        The top row bar shows you how close you are to earning a higher star rating.
        Platforms
        You cannot dig through a platform.
        Most platforms are stable. You can usually dig under them if need be.
        Some platforms which aren’t stable and will fall on you if you don’t move out of the way.
        You can still dig under them, though you have to dig again quickly, or head back where you came from.
        The unstable platforms are typically the platforms which are the width of your character.
        When wider platforms can fall they typically will not as long as one part of them is supported by sand or another stable platform.
        Purple platforms are typically stable. Gray platforms typically are not.
        Voids
        Voids will cause you to fall down a level if you dig atop them. Be sure you have cleared items from your current vertical plane before walking over a void..
        Filling voids with rolling stones might become necessary on some levels to enable you to collect all items.
        Environmental factors
        Some levels have interactive elements you must collect. These include keys and rolling stones.
        Keys are essential to unlocking some paths leading to collectibles.
        You must collect the keys before you can unlock a door
        Keys are a one-time item. You cannot reuse keys. Some levels require you to collect multiple keys.
        You can see how many keys you’ve collected on the upper right corner of the screen.
        Some locked doors lead to branching paths, not all of which have collectibles. Choose wisely.
        Rolling stones can sometimes block your path.
        They can be a hazard if they fall on you.
        They can also block your path.
        If there’s room, you can push them out of your way.
        Pushing them to a void can help you reach collectibles that are out of the way.
        Avoid obstacles
        Obstacles include spikes, rocks, and falling platforms.
        If they hit you, you die and must start the level all over again.
        Strategies for avoidance:
        Falling platforms: Dig away from them as fast as you can before they fall. You can dig away left or right, but if you keep digging downward the platform may follow you down.
        Spikes: Avoid touching them. Dig away from the spikes to avoid falling into them. If you must move past them, then try to time your movement.
        Bugs: Wait until they move away.
        Gas bubbles: Avoid touching them. When they’re in the way, dig around them.
        Strategy
        Remember, you can only go down.
        This will influence how you plan your moves since you cannot backtrack.
        You cannot see the entire cavern at once. Thus, you may need to start over many times to refine your strategy.
        Dig with care to make sure you don’t fall miss anything while going down.
        Examine each level as you go along.
        Moving a certain way may deny you the chance to collect items.
        Some items may only be collected if you follow a specific path.
        You don’t need to unlock all the doors. Choose the locked path that has the collectibles beneath.
        Sometimes, you may need to push a rolling stone to fill up a pit. This will help you have a place to stand when collecting items.
        Target Audience
        This game is suited for all audiences and for fans of the Cartoon Network series. However, its more complex puzzles make it better suited for older children.
